Guided Sunset Hike
Enjoy a short scenic hike along Merrick Mile trail as the daylight turns to twilight. The hike does include mild elevation changes with some rocky and uneven walking surfaces. Distance: 1.2 miles Where to meet: In front of HQ Reminders: Bring water and dress for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking. Bringing a flashlight is recommended if staying in the park after the hike. Note: The hike is subject to change/cancellation in the event of inclement weather.

Cost: Program is free with park admission ($6 for visitors 13 years and up; free for visitors 12 years and younger; free to State Park Pass holders). Please use the self-pay station if arriving after office hours. The self-pay station takes cash (exact change), check, reservation, or Texas State Parks Pass only.
